A parent with kidney failure and heart failure, diabetes.....? - fluid around kidney & heart
Has anyone lived with a parent or grandparent? My mother was freed yesterday after 17 days in the hospital of fluid in his heart. Dialysis was started and successfully removed fluid from around his heart, but she is exhausted with swelling, water retention, which can easily drown your heart ... Monday starts the outpatient dialysis three times a week ... He says he does not drink fluids or water ... That seems impossible.
I know one thing, but nobody has tried it? Tips are welcome ...
I try to help as a caregiver at home, but I'm afraid something is wrong in your system ... Thank you very much for the advice ... ♥

My husband went to kidney failure. In addition to a dialysis diet can help. Dialysis patients have a diet. The liquid is very limited. Stay away from salt! Delicious low-sodium, potassium, phosphorus in foods low in dialysis patients here are some links that I found very useful. I hope that helps. We opted for the PD dialysis we live so far from the dialysis clinics. Life on dialysis is good. Just be careful what you eat and drink. Oh No soda either. More Freedon dialysis PD with hemodialysis ... revealed. Good luck to you. Oh, my husband suffers from diabetes, hypertension and dialysis. All this happened a month ago. I know what happened.
You are wise to get a provider of nursing home care or community. I hope your mother can be seen by a cardiologist. Good luck.
